O espelho da Joana é muito fácil de fazer!
1. Escolha a base de moldura na qual deseja trabalhar. Pode ser uma antiga moldura que você já não usa, mas que gosta da forma. O importante é que seja de superfície lisa, o que torna mais fácil a découpage.
2. Lixar a peça e passar um pano húmido para retirar o pó resultante da lixagem.
3. Escolha as cores com que quer trabalhar. É mais fácil e resulta melhor se escolher duas ou três cores que combinam com a divisão na qual deseja incluir o espelho, ou uma graduação de cores como castanho-creme escuro-creme claro.
4. O primeiro passo é pintar a parte da frente da moldura com tinta acrílica branca. Esta pintura é importante no caso de vir a ser usado guardanapo transparente ou papel semi-transparente. Se esta pintura não fôr aplicada poderá dar-se o caso de a cor da madeira ser visível através do revestimento e afectar a qualidade final do trabalho.
5. Pintar a parte de trás da moldura. Pode ser com uma cor que combine com as cores que virão a ser usadas na parte da frente do trabalho. Dar um revestimento e deixar secar.
6. Escolher as peças de tecido ou papel que irão ser usados na moldura, recortá-los de modo a ficarem prontos a colar. Organizá.los sobre uma bancada por cores ou por padrões.
7. Colar os recortes na moldura com a ajuda de uma termolina ou de cola de découpage. Não esquecer as laterais.
8. Use verniz ou vidro líquido para proteger o seu trabalho.

If you don`t paint it before starting decoupaging it, it may happens that the color of the wood may become visible through the covering and affect the final quality of the work.
5. Paint the behind part of the frame. You can use a color that combines with the colors that will be used in the front part of the work. To give it a covering with varnish and to leave to dry.
